What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00. If you need an early check-in or a late check-out, message us in advance and we'll do our best to arrange it around the day's bookings.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is available on request rather than automatically included. Let us know when you book and we'll add it to your stay so it's ready each morning.
Do the rooms have WiFi?
Yes — complimentary WiFi runs throughout the hotel and in every room, so you can stream, call and work without a data plan.
Is parking available?
Avenue Hotel sits in the centre of Girne, where parking is on nearby streets rather than a private lot. Message reception before you arrive and we'll advise the easiest place to leave a car for your dates.
How far is Avenue Hotel from Kyrenia (Girne) Harbour?
About 450 metres — a flat five-minute walk. The old harbour, the castle and most of the town's restaurants are all within easy walking distance of the door.
Can I walk to restaurants from the hotel?
Yes. Because the hotel is central, the harbour and old-town restaurants are a short, mostly level walk away — there's no need for a taxi in the evening.
Do you help with airport transfers?
Yes — we're happy to help you arrange a private transfer. Send us your flight details on WhatsApp and we'll help organise a car from Ercan (about 45 minutes) or Larnaca (around two to two and a half hours, via the crossing).
Can families stay at Avenue Hotel?
Yes. Several room types suit families — the Family Suite and Avenue Blue each sleep up to four, and the Triple Single suits three. Tell us your group when you book and we'll suggest the best fit.
Is there daily housekeeping?
Yes, your room is serviced daily, with fresh towels and a tidy-up while you're out exploring.
How far is Bellapais Abbey?
About 6 km — a 15-minute drive up into the hills above Kyrenia. St Hilarion Castle is a little further, around 25 minutes. We can help you arrange a taxi for either.
Does the hotel have a casino?
No — Avenue is a quiet boutique hotel without a casino. Several of North Cyprus's larger casino resorts are a short drive away if you'd like to visit one for the evening.
Can I bring a pet?
Please message us before booking if you'd like to bring a pet. We'll confirm what's possible for your room type and dates so there are no surprises on arrival.
